"Performing for the children was one of my best stage moments"

On November 8th, Zaza performed French songs in front of children from 5 to 12 years old at Hillcrest Elementary school downtown for their Foreign Language Academy French Week festivities. "I must say this is one of my best stage moments!", she said.

"I received so much love from these wonderful children! I even got my first ever autograph request from a sweet 5 year old! (followed by many kids lining up to get one! Ah! I am now officially famous!)

Thank you Hillcrest Elementary for having me and including me in your week long festivities, it was a pleasure to sing for you all!

When asked how it felt to sing in front of children and if they liked it this is what Zaza answered: "They are the best audience! They actually listen. One of the little girls after I was done came to me and said that in the middle of "La vie en rose" from Edith Piaf, she felt like she wanted to cry! And that my dear made me proud because It means that it does not matter whether they understood the lyrics or not, but the emotions went straight to their heart. Music is a universal language and Kids get it. 

Kids gave me so much love. There was a wonderful exchange happening in that room yesterday!"
